2009 has been one hell of a year.  First black President, gay marriages, abortion issues and don’t forget about religion.  You add people’s opinions and creativity to the mix and you have for one hell of a funny protest sign.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

These were funny. Worth looking at
See,getting along gets us nowhere. Feeding off the tears of the true believers is lolrific. . . and tasty.
Has anyone else noticed that the most ignorant signs are from the religious reich? Followed closely by the Obama-haters. Neither has any interest in facts or cares to prove what they think is true.
I get the feeling most (if not all) were photoshopped to say something totally different. Don’t believe everything you read and only half what you see with your own eyes.
“I get the feeling most (if not all) were photoshopped to say something totally different. Don’t believe everything you read and only half what you see with your own eyes.”
Why do you people always believe everything is photoshopped?
Hilarious. Especially love the two guys arguing with multiple signs
The one about “A Marrage is only valad if the wife is a virgin” isn’t a quote…it’s a bad summery of 8 lines Deuteronomy.
actually…
it’s a pretty good summary.
Original (KJV)
“13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,
14 And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:
15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel’s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:
16 And the damsel’s father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;
17 And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
18 And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;
19 And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:
21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.”
SUMMARY
13-14: If a man claims that his wife has been deflowered before they married…
15-17: Her mom and dad have to prove she’s a virgin to the village elders
18-19: If the elders see the proof as valid, they will make him stay married to his wife and pay her dad lots of silver.
20-21: If they see the proof as invalid/nonexistent, the will have the wife stoned to death.

So yeah, if a woman isn’t a virgin when she gets married we should kill her?
Probably not…
very good, its a shame everyone cant enjoy them for what they are. A bit of fun
What I don’t understand is why, when we were all kids, the only thing that mattered was well…nothing, but apparently when you hit, what, 7 years old now they’re making you pick sides and carry signs??
Why does it matter, without competition we can’t advance but is it necessary to turn the competition of ideals into a verbal bloodbath with the children as casualties???
Pure. Stupidity.
….legalize mj….
These were great and funny signs. Worth the time and I got a good chuckle from most of them.
While I’m here, I’d like to say a word about what some Christians are doing. Some say we are not doing enough and others say Christians should shut up and go to the back of the bus like good second-class citizens.
I say we were commanded to “tell them” the good news that Christ has come and died for their sins so that they no longer need to be bound by sin and oppressed by demons.
But always remember, dear Christians…God never once told us to “convince” anybody.
We are to ‘tell’ they and if they refuse the word of God, we are commanded to, “…knock the very dust off your feet in that place as a testament against them…” then move on to tell another.
We, as Christians, can’t save anyone. Only God can do that.
