To give an example – Last night, on my pizza night. It might not seem crazy, or really anything special to you. However, movie night with my teenage daughter eating pizza. It doesn’t get much better than that. (well actually it does, I wanted to watch Sylvester Stallone’s 2008 movie Rambo, she wanted Ink Heart. We paper, rock scissored for it and turns out I suck at that game) None the less, my favorite, two peperoni and one supreme Tony’s pizza, along with the fact that my daughter still likes hangin’ out with me, made my week.
Why Tony’s Pizza vs other pizza? For me there are three reasons. One, they put more toppings on vs other frozen pizzas.  Two, the crust. Unlike a lot of other frozen pizza, when you cook Tony’s the crust doesn’t get all soggy. It stays crisp. Lastly, cost. Lets face it, today’s day and age with the economy the way it is, it’s nice to be able to afford pizza night with family and friends. As opposed to going out, ordering 3 pizzas and drinks costing you three or four times what it would cost you to buy 3 Tony’s Pizzas.

Personally, I was never a huge fan of frozen pizza’s. But then my wife introduced me to the fact that dipping cooked frozen pizza’s in buttermilk ranch pretty much is one of the most delicious dang things on the planet. Seriously, grab a Dr. Pepper and some pizza and smother that pizza slice in some ranch and that’s a super good cheap meal for a Friday night.
Our pizza night is when all my kids have friends over to spend the night. We have a houseful of kids running mad in the house, making bases from quilts and pillows, and watching scary movies so that all the kids have to pile onto the floor for a bed since there is safety in numbers of course. We pop several pizzas in the oven to calm the natives and our nerves, pop in the movie and voila! instant quiet…… till they run out of pizza. But that has to be our favorite pizza nights.
Pizza night is by far the best dinner. Not because it’s any better than say, taco night, or spaghetti with garlic bread. But because pizza is finger food. Not as many dishes, and it usually means movie night when pizza is served. At least in our house. We do the frozen pizzas too. Just to expensive to go out, or have it delivered. Hell you can go and buy frozen pizzas and the movie for the price of just ordering pizza.
My favorite pizza night doesn’t necessarily mean a Friday/Saturday or any particular night. It’s what ever night I can get the family to order out, buy frozen or bake some up in the oven. It is however much more fun when we have the twin nephews over for a jolly good time playing Wii and or making funny faces to them to get their smiles and laughter going. They Love It! And it makes our night as well. Thanks BB.
Friday nights were pizza nights for me growing up. Not buying pizza from the local joints is cost prohibitive. We often make our own pizza and that is good too but sometimes you just need a quick frozen pizza and for the cost Tony’s is fantastic.
