The Mitsubishi Materials Corporation of Japan poured the World’s largest Gold bar. The bar is 17.9 inches by 8.9 inches and 6.7 inches high. All though it takes up the same amount of space as a large shoe box, you would not be able to lift it. It weighs 551.15 pounds.
If you took the price of Gold today, Febuary 1, 2010 at $1097.30 per oz. That would make the world’s largest Gold Bar worth a whopping, $9,676,430.32!
