I’ve seen these pictures a couple times and I wanna dispel the notion that these are “friends.” Cheetahs teach their young to hunt by bringing small live prey to their cubs. However, the cubs have no idea what to do and will only attack when the animal runs away, triggering their natural chase reflexes. If the young gazelle is too terrified to move (who wouldn’t be?) then the young cheetahs will simply sniff and lick their new companion until they get bored and leave it alone. The same is true of most felines. As the saying in the bush goes: “Only food runs away.”

Actually A So-called Expert, I have seen these pictures too and there are more pictures, the ones where the young gazelle gets separated from its herd and these two cheetahs find it, and then a couple later where the gazelle runs away with the cheetahs not following. I agree they aren’t friend, but they were probably full from having already eaten and this gazelle stumbling into their hands was useless for them…

As you can see by my name i am a doctor in gizelle-ology and also an inter dimensional traveller, which makes me an expert, i too have seen footage of gizelle’s similar to this one in the same frame as cheetah’s.
The truth i will tell you now good sir’s is that this is not a gizelle but merely an interdimensional spectre from beyond.
Which clearly explains why they wont eat it, its meat is not of this world.
Case closed.

isn’t clear to everyone else that the cheetah is a vampire and is merely waiting for the so-called gazelle to turn and become one of his minions?

I agree with cheetah number 1, I saw them at the club. Cheetah was the wingman. Gazelle went home with a cute little white tail and they lived happily ever after.
